Individualized ABA Programs
We design individualized, empirically based ABA programs for children with autism and other developmental and behavior disorders. These programs address skill deficits across many developmental domains, including language, social and communication skills, self-help, play, and academic skills.
Parent Education
The results of an in-home ABA program are dramatically improved when parents carry out interventions outside of the therapy sessions. An integral part of our program includes educating and teaching parents proactive and effective procedures that promote positive behavior change in their child.
Toilet Training
We provide consultation for all children learning to use the toilet. For children receiving intensive ABA programming, toilet training is just one of the many self-help skills we successfully teach. This is a specialized, multi-step process that begins with careful observation and the development of a specific success plan.
Sleep Consultation
We offer expert consultation to improve your child’s sleep habits. After medical issues have been ruled out, a consultant will gather information about the child’s sleep patterns, habits, and difficulties prior to any intervention.
Feeding Services
We provide consultation and treatment for children who need assistance during meal times. Many children with autism engage in inappropriate behaviors during meal times and may engage in food selectivity, consuming a limited variety of foods. Parents may find their child will only eat crunchy foods, hot or cold foods, or foods of a specific color, texture, or brand.
Book: Behavioral Intervention for Young Children with Autism
A great first step for anyone interested in Applied Behavior Analysis— parents, teachers, or students.
Book: Sense and Nonsense in the Behavioral Treatment of Autism: It Has to be Said
Particularly for those seeking early intervention for children diagnosed with autism.
Book: Controversial Therapies for Developmental Disabilities: Fad, Fashion, and Science
Teaches parents & consumers of autism therapy how to evaluate claims about autism treatment.
